2023 Joint Midyear Meeting’s Assembly Meeting

The ISBA Assembly met on Friday, December 8, at the 2023 Joint Midyear Meeting held at the JW Marriott Chicago.

During the meeting, the Assembly listened to a DEI presentation, "Ways to Improve and Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Legal Profession," by Toussaint Romain with the Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy.

President Kasserman presented the Board of Governors Award to April Otterberg for her work on the Professional Conduct Committee and its guidance on the Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct addressing sexual harassment and discrimination in the legal profession.
