Mahoney, Silverman & Cross, LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Howard L. Huntington to its litigation team. Howard has over 13 years of experience focusing his practice on business torts, commercial litigation, construction, product liability, public entity, civil rights and transportation litigation. He has successfully represented corporations, banks and municipalities in a wide variety of civil litigation. Prior to joining our litigation team, Howard was a partner at Williams Montgomery & John, Ltd., where his work included defending the insureds of several major insurance carriers. He is "AV Preeminent" peer review rated by Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting the highest peer recognition for ethical standards and legal ability. Howard was selected by the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin as one of the 40 Illinois Attorneys Under 40 to Watch in 2012.
Howard has defended numerous construction contractors and subcontractors in catastrophic injury and wrongful death suits. He also has defended high-stakes injury and wrongful death claims brought against trucking and motor freight companies. In the employment area, Howard has defended municipalities and public entities in Title VII discrimination cases, Section 1983 public employee cases, employment contract and other matters.
