Hon. Mel Richard Jiganti, beloved husband of the late Mary Ann Jiganti, nee Fusco, died on February 15, 2022. Mel met the love of his life in second grade, married her at 23 and had five children in quick succession. By any measure, he led a spectacular life.
Hon. Alan Joel Greiman, brilliant jurist, impactful legislator, lifelong Chicagoan, and bon vivant died peacefully at home at age 90. Although his body gave out, his positive spirit and zest for life were with him until the end.
Gerald D. Fines 82 of Springfield, died at 7:30 am, Monday, February 14, 2022. He was born January 26, 1940 to Azzle and Lelia (Arkebauer) Fines in Taylorville. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donald Fines and one sister, Dorothea (Fines) Robertson.
Timothy Douglas “Tim” Church, 54, of East Peoria, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022.
Jay William Adams, 70, of Litchfield, died on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born on July 17, 1951 in Urbana, the son of William and Verna June (Landes) Adams, but later moved to Litchfield in 1955.
Frederick “Fred” Michael Endres of Oakdale, Illinois, was born on January 9, 1940, in Peoria, Illinois, and was the only child of Helen and Alvin Endres. He passed away peacefully on February 8th, 2022 at home.
Terry Michael Grimm (April 3, 1942 – January 28, 2022) joined his cherished wife Susan in heaven on January 28, 2022. He left an enduring legacy of love, loyalty, laughter, and legal brilliance.
