Gembala; loving mother of Claire (Michael) Nass & Justine (Adrian) Skawski; dearest grandmother of Francis John, Marieclaire & Eloise; dear sister of Mary (late Marty) Rooney, Theresa Marchlewski (Tom Nunziato), Frank (late Mary) Marchlewski, Anna (Mike) Murphy, Aida (Ken) Jacoby, Anthony (Maria) Marchlewski, Lisa March (Shawn Skriver), David (Erin) Marchlewski & the late Christopher Marchlewski; fond sister-in-law of Walter Gembala; cherished by her many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. 

Meagher + Geer, PLLP, announced that Partner Kurt Zitzer, was re-elected to the firm’s Management Committee. Kurt has served on the firm’s Management Committee since 2017 and will continue to serve in this role for another five-year term. He also serves as Practice Chair for the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Professional Liability practice groups. Kurt practices out of the firm’s Chicago and Phoenix offices.

The combination expands the firms’ collective capabilities in core practice areas including business and real estate, finance, litigation, and trusts and estates, while bolstering their already strong presence in the Chicagoland and Midwest markets. Led by CEO Andrew M. Sachs and President Riccardo A. DiMonte, the combined firm has 60 lawyers, with 40 staff and paralegals located across two offices in downtown Chicago and Park Ridge, Illinois.
