Michaeline Gordon, 60, passed away at home in S. Barrington, IL on June 14 surrounded by her loving family.
Michaeline was born May 25, 1960 in Chicago, IL and later moved to the northern suburbs where she graduated from Schaumburg High School as the president of her class. She was chosen as Miss Schaumburg Rodeo Queen. Her love of learning was apparent by her extensive educational career. Michaeline earned her B.S. at the University of Illinois followed by a J.D. from the John Marshall School of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation at DePaul University. She then attended Columbia University where she earned a Certificate in Mediation which enhanced her ability to relate to others in her professional career.
Leo Feldman, 90 of Skokie, IL passed away June 15, 2020.
Beloved husband of the late Phillis, nee Frazier. Loving father of Douglas E. Feldman and Gail (Tim) Micheau. Proud grandfather of Hannah and Ben Micheau. Dear brother of the late Meyer Feldman. Cherished friend of caregiver Mae Giron.
Brian LaCien, a managing partner of Smith LaCien LLP, a law firm concentrating in catastrophic injury, wrongful death and medical malpractice cases, has been selected by the Board of Managers of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA) to serve on the Association of Justice (AAJ) Board of Governors for the 2020-21 fiscal year. Currently, he is the chair of the AAJ’s Aviation Section.
A member of ITLA since 2003, LaCien has been a member of its board. In addition, he currently serves as chair of the Tort Law Section of the Illinois State Bar Association.
Howard Mark LeVine passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on June 2, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Phyllis Levine as well as his beloved best friend and wife Donna. He is survived by his three sons, Scott (Jeanette), Brett, and Jeff and one granddaughter, Addison.

Robert K. Brookman passed away peacefully in his Chicago home on May 31, 2020. He was 78.
Carl Ross Mowery, J.D., 64; of Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, born in Fairbury, IL; passed away peacefully May 30, 2020.
After graduating from Illinois Wesleyan University and John Marshall Law School, Carl went on to specialize in compensation, benefits, and human resources. He served most recently as Managing Director and leader of the Chicago Human Capital Services practice at Grant Thornton LLP.
Ole Bly Pace III passed away beautifully and peacefully Tuesday, June 2, 2020 surrounded by his loving wife, daughters and caregiver. He was a grateful man and considered each day on this earth a blessing.
