Effective January 1, 2008, the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation has issued new regulations affecting what methods and practices insurance companies can employ when they sell or attempt to sell life insurance to military personnel. 50 Ill Adm Code 2605.
The Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, which regulates the licensing of physicians, has created rules to implement the Medical Practice Act of 1987, 225 ILCS 60 et seq, which required that the department make publicly available profiles of all physicians licensed in Illinois. 68 Ill Adm Code 1285.

89 Ill Adm Code 10, "General Administrative Provisions," has been amended to add self-neglect to the list of elder abuse and neglect that department staff must report to the Department on Aging within 24 hours of discovery.
